本ページは、2020年度Aセメスターに東京大学工学部および工学系研究科で開講される授業「創造的ものづくりプロジェクトⅡ」（学部生向け）、「創造性工学プロジェクトⅡ」（大学院生向け）で設置されるプロジェクトの1つである「他国と探る New Normal」について説明するページです。
　他学部・他研究科の学生も履修可能な授業ですので、興味がある方は是非ご参加ください。本授業は複数のプロジェクトテーマのうち、1つ、もしくは複数を学生が選ぶ形式の授業となっているため、履修を希望する学生は、「創造的ものづくりプロジェクトⅡ」（学部生向け）、「創造性工学プロジェクトⅡ」（大学院生向け）いずれかの授業を登録してください。

This page explains an "Exploring the New Normal with other nations" project, which is one of the projects of a course offered in Faculty of Engineering and Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo in fall semester (A semester) of 2020. The course name is "Creative Engineering Project II" (for undergraduates) or "Creative Engineering Project II" (for graduate students). In this course, students may choose one or more of the multiple project themes. This project is open to students from other departments and graduate schools, so if you are interested in this project, please join us.

概要 / description
　本プロジェクトでは、ウィズコロナ時代の New Normal を複数国の大学生・大学教員・社会人と連携して探っていきます。具体的には、疫病に対応可能な建築、都市のエネルギーマネジメント、大学の在り方などのトピックに関してチームを組んで、他国（シンガポール、スウェーデン、ラオス）の大学生・大学教員と対話、他国の関連企業・団体・官庁などへのインタビューを行い、それらをふまえてNew Normalについて検討し、各トピックの New Normal について調査したこと、考察したことを最終的に発表します。それらを通して、他国理解を深めると同時に、国際理解するための方法について学びます。
　基本的に日本語を用いて授業を行いますが、他国の関係者との連絡、対話、インタビュー、最終発表などは英語を用いて行う予定です。

In this project, students will explore the New Normal in the era of with-corona in collaboration with university students, university faculty members, and businessman from multiple countries. Specifically, students will form teams to talk with university students and university faculty members in other countries (Singapore, Sweden, and Laos) about such topics as epidemic-resistant architecture, urban energy management, the role of universities, and so on. Students will examine the new normal and make a final presentation of the research and reflection on the new normal for each topic. Through these process, students will deepen their understanding of other nations and learn how to understand them internationally.
Classes are basically taught in Japanese, but we plan to use English for contact, dialogue, interviews, and final presentations with people from other countries.

授業形態 / Teaching methodology
・全て Zoom を用いたリアルアイムのオンライン授業の予定です。Zoom の URL については、UTAS および ITC-LMS をご確認ください。
・全ての授業は録画して授業後に確認できるようにします。
・また、インタビューの方法などの教材は自習できるように動画を準備する予定です（つまり、適宜必要に応じてオンデマンドで学べる教材を用意します）。
・この授業では、受講生が互いに学べることが多いため、ペアワークやグループワークで学ぶ機会を多く作ります。

- All classes will be recorded and made available for review after the class.
- In addition, we plan to prepare videos on how to conduct interviews and other materials for self-study (i.e., we will have materials that can be learned on demand).
- Because there is benefit for students to learn from each other in this project, we will create many opportunities for students to learn through pair and group work.

スケジュール
　第1回では、本授業の概要説明、学生同士の自己紹介、連携国や機関の紹介などガイダンスを行った上で、国について知る視点（省庁、教育、文化、宗教など）について学びます。 / In the first class, students will receive an overview of the class, introduce themselves to each other, and learn about the partner countries and institutions, as well as learning about their perspectives on the country (ministry, education, culture, religion, etc.).
　第2回では、New Normal について理解を深めるため、New Normal について知る視点や具体的なトピック例について学びます。 / In the second class, students will learn about perspectives and examples of specific topics to help them understand the New Normal better.
　第3回では、トピックの候補を共有して、各トピックから学生は興味あるものを選び、そのトピックに関する New Normal を検討するチームを編成します。トピック例としては、疫病に対応可能な建築、都市のエネルギーマネジメント、大学の在り方などが挙げられます。教員側からいくつかトピック例を提示しますが、学生が独自に設定しても問題ありません。/ In the third class, students will share potential topics and from each topic, students will choose a topic of interest and form a team to examine New Normal on that topic. Examples of topics include epidemic-resistant architecture, urban energy management, and the state of the university. The faculty member will provide several examples of topics, but students are welcome to create their own.
　第4～5回では、各自が調査するトピックについて他国の学生との情報交換を行うための対話セッション（第6回～第7回）の実施に向けて、チームによる調査と準備を行います。 / In the fourth and fifth classes, teams will research and prepare for the sixth and seventh interactive classes to exchange information with students from other countries on the topics they will investigate.
　第6～8回では、他国の学生と、各トピックについて情報交換します。/ In the 6th to 8th classes, students will exchange information on each topic with students from other countries.
　第9～10回では、他国の関連企業・団体・官庁の関係者に、各トピックについてインタビューをすることを通して、そのトピックに関する New Normal について理解を深めます。 / In the ninth and tenth classes, students will deepen their understanding of the New Normal by interviewing relevant companies, organizations, and government officials from other countries on each topic.
　第11～12回では、第13回の最終発表に向けて準備を行います。 / In the eleventh and twelfth classes, students will prepare for the thirteenth (final) presentation.
　第13回では、他国の大学生、関係者を交えて、これまでに検討した各トピックの New Normal に関して最終発表します。 / In the thirteenth class, students will make final presentations on the New Normal of each topic they have discussed with university students and others involved from other countries.

成績評価 / Evaluation
　授業への参加度、他国の学生との対話への参加状況、インタビューの実施状況、最終発表をふまえて、総合的に評価します。
Students will be evaluated on the basis of their participation in class, participation in dialogues with students from other countries, interviews, and final presentations.
