ACTIVITIES
Workshops on individual research topics, intensive lectures, international internship programs, and other potential projects will be organized in the framework of the Asian Deans’ Forum. Such exchanges contribute to further strengthening the competitiveness of the Asian academia by enhancing mobility of faculty and students within the leading Asian university networks. The first of these activities, a workshop on Bioengineering, was held at the National University of Singapore in March 2017. Updates on activities are posted arbitrarily.-

This year's BME Workshop on Biosensors was hosted by the University of Tokyo on March 6-8, 2019. Altogether, 15 speakers from National University of Singapore (NUS) and the University of Tokyo (UTokyo) delivered talks on photonics, microfluidics, robotics, chemical sensors and flexible sensors. The workshop also included discussion and presentations of collaborative projects.

Workshop on Bioengineering is a key activity of the Forum. It provides a platform for participating universities to communicate research ideas and achievements in diverse areas related to Bioengineering, to share experiences and approaches to Bioengineering education, and to explore potential research collaboration and partnership.
